so my best friend just sent me a message telling me how he didn’t realize how massive the statue of david is (it’s roughly 17 feet in height) and i was caught off guard as well because i don’t remember him being THAT tall.
i remembered the statue being quite human-sized, so seeing pictures of crowds around him is…kinda scary…
but i wanted to know WHY i thought he was life-sized because i could’ve sworn i remembered seeing him with people! … and then my brain remembered:
most of my memories of this statue are of its presence in animal crossing as the “gallant statue”
i’ve always assumed that the villagers in animal crossing are smaller than humans, so whenever i saw the statue of david in any context of the animal crossing games i’ve played (new leaf & new horizons) i just assumed he was human-sized!
but now this creates a new perspective for me:
if the statue of david isn’t that tall in animal crossing, everything within the game must be freaking MASSIVE
please can someone who’s good at math determine the height of the standard villager based off of this info because this is *hilarious* to me

hi! i’m natalie! i am now 25 years old and i still very much love coldplay’s music LOL. i started this blog when i was 13 years old, and typing that out actually just made me go “oh my god….oh my GOD…” isn’t that fun?! HAHAHA
anyway, i’ve been missing coldplay tumblr for the last few years, and i’m hoping that one day we can all find our way back onto here, because i remember having so much fun on here with everyone.
i’m sure everyone has grown and changed over these past few years, so i don’t expect to relive those days of the mylo xyloto era when we were all hormonal fanfolks longing for recognition from then-30-something-year-old men LMAO
but knowing that i still have some semblance of a family on here would be extremely reassuring
